Why PewDiePie Won't Go To Russia and Other Questions About the Worlds Biggest Country
After an unexpected response to one of my comments from PewDiePie, I got the bright idea to scour the internet in search of some questions. Specifically, I wanted to know what people were asking about Russia (in general) and life here (especially as an expat), on Google and forums such as Reddit.
What I found surprised me, as the most popular questions by far should have been the simplest ones to answer – it’s just that Russia is still apparently so far off the beaten path for most tourists and travelers, that, well, there just aren’t that many proper answers out there.
That’s why we’re here. This will be part one of my Life in Russia Q&A videos, this particular time we will cover a few basics and some oddly specific questions as well. Going into the future, I’ll answer the questions that are the most prevalent in the comments section! So, is there anything you want to know about Russia? Ask away.
Here are the questions featured in this video:
1.)Is Russia in/a part of Europe?
2.)Is Russia a developed country?
3.)Is Russia a good place to visit as a tourist? What about for work?
4.)Is Russia safe? For Tourists as well? Is Moscow Safe at Night?
5.)Can Americans and Europeans safely visit Russia now?
6.)Is travelling in Russia expensive?
7.)What is life like in Russia for expats and foreigners?
8.)Are Russian railways reliable?
9.)Can I drive in Russia with my local Drivers license? Will my phone work anywhere in Russia?
10.)What is a Dacha?
As always, thank you for watching!
If you enjoyed the video, it would be great if you’d subscribe for more! Also, I’d love to hear your ideas on what you’d like to see me film in Russia, or otherwise!
