In the early morning of the 15/12/17 the P&O Cruises Passenger Ship “Oceana” returned to Southampton Docks from Hamburg after having a two week refurbishment done to some of her interior she was scheduled to dock at the City Cruise Terminal for 05:45am then we see her departure from the City Cruise Terminal at 13:48pm for a Local Channel Cruise where “Oceana” will be undergoing some sea trials testing out the propulsion, engines etc to ensure that she will be ready for her first cruise since returning from her refurbishment.
She is due back in Southampton again on the morning of the 16/12/17 at the QE2 Cruise Terminal then later in the day at 17:00pm she will be moved across to the Mayflower Cruise Terminal where she will be made ready for her next Cruise on the 17/12/17 for a 12 Night Canary Islands & Portugal Cruise. In this video there is a glimpse of workmen still working on painting part of her deck as she departed from the quayside. The two tugs assisting “Oceana” were Svitzer Bargate and Svitzer Eston.
