  1. You're so inspiring! I'm NYC-based and getting ready to head to Central/South America (next week). I'm starting off in Guatemala and who knows where the wind will blow me after that!

  2. Their reaction to your choice in men is clearly a symptom of self hate. We have to try and dismantle the colonial mindset otherwise you will never be free. It's important we challenge these ideas or so called preferences, and not be amused by such. That being said, I enjoy your videos and would very much like to visit Columbia.

  3. Thanks for your update. I am excited to finally be visiting Medellin from Aug 2 – Oct. 3. I have appreciated your videos so much and I am looking forward to having an awesome time there!

  4. Im planning on going to China for a 2 year language learning immersion program. The Government there offers these programs free of charge to some foreigners. I think Spanish will be more useful for me in the long run. I’m looking for a similar Spanish language program in South America. Does anyone know if such a program exists? Which country?

  5. Im trying to decide between Colombia and Peru! You are the only person who really get me excited about Colombia and curious to see it.

  6. you are a beautiful young lady and its nice to see you like to travel and meet new people becareful be yourself you like what you like its a good to learn about other people and the way they live. Its nice to learn something every day 💙

  7. Hi Chanelle, Wow, all anyone would have to do is look back at your videos from your time in Spain. You’ve improved so much! You are one of the people who motivated me. Keep enjoying your life. People say some crazy stuff! 🙋🏽‍♀️Have fun and keep smiling.

  8. I am really enjoying your vlogs. I think it was sad to hear the reaction from the other black girls regarding your choice in men. It let me know self hate is global especially for people of color world wide. I have no problem with marrying another culture if the motives are right. When you talk negatively about the men in your own race i then have issues with it. Its amazing you run across blacks here in the U.S. who dont identity as blacks. However society will let you know who are

  9. I had a similar experience when i lived in Dominica. This person said that i couldn't be Haitian and that i should say that I was Dominican. Too proud to dat!
