Travel vlog 537 // Stockholm, Sweden // We have stayed in a lot of unique accommodations during our travels, but this has to be one of the coolest hotels we’ve ever stayed in! A 747 airplane was converted to a hotel, with rooms in the isles, engines, landing gear space, and cockpit! We give a full tour of the airplane in this vlog, then we travel from Stockholm to Italy!

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started “travel hacking” and taking more trips together and finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and travel hacking over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this YouTube channel to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling. So we extended our 1 year trip to THREE years 🙂 Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before 2020! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. 🙂

  1. Here's our Vespa Tour vlog from this summer! Sorry if you are confused about the timeline… We posted the video of the tour as soon as it happened to explain why we hadn't posted the entire month of July. Our videos have just now caught up to when the tour happened. The next vlog we post will be us leaving Italy after the tours. So, to know what happened in between, make sure you watch this one first –>

  2. Wow, now that is AWESOME! Definitely, a must do for us after watching this, so thank you! We laughed so hard when Nate let go of his luggage for Kate to pick up, hahahahahaha!

  3. I love you guys so much! Since first watching your videos 2 years ago, I am now studying abroad and have been living in Italy for 2 months. You two have inspired me to follow my passion of travel! 🙂

  4. ugh, I lived in Rome for about five months and loved it. Looking at your footage of it (including the airport I've flown out of many times!) was so nostalgic. Thank you for sharing!

  5. There are a few comments here about how late they are with the vlogs, but guys, I just want to say that it really takes a lot of time to produce high quality content the way they are doing, especially when you do it all while traveling. Being a travel vlogger myself, I deal with that everyday and actually admire that they are able to keep a minimum gap as much as possible. Keep going Kara and Nate! You guys rock! ❤️

  6. Hey guys, just want to say that I am having withdrawals from the regular posts . . . Started watching from the beginning. It's just as good watching it over again. Great to see how u guys have progressed. Love from South Africa

  7. So cool sleeping on that Jet! My dad worked for Pan American and we traveled Europe once a year for many years so I may have been on that plane at some point. Brought back so many memories! Have a wonderful time in Italy!
